Every Day is a Day for Action.\nAs September approaches, the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation invites us to honour Survivors, remember the children who never came home, and reflect on the ongoing journey toward reconciliation. While September 30 is a nationally recognized day of remembrance, reconciliation is not a destination, it is a path we choose to walk together through learning, relationship, and action.\nThis year, our community offers meaningful ways to take that journey.\nThe invitation to learn begins before September 30. Leading up to the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation (NCTR)  ( https://trw-svr.nctr.ca/lunch-and-learns/ )is offering a series of free virtual Lunch & Learns, bringing together Survivors, Knowledge Keepers, educators, and guest speakers. Accessible from wherever you are, the series offers an opportunity to pause, listen with intention, reflect, and carry the spirit of Truth and Reconciliation into the day and beyond.\nWe invite you to join our daily Lunch and Learn webinars – an immersive experience to UN-learn the myths of colonial history in Canada.\nLunch and Learn sessions are aimed at an adult audience, and open to the public, and will be hosted virtually over Zoom Webinar and streamed to YouTube.\nMost sessions will be 60 minutes in length and will include a Q&A between the moderator and guest(s).\nAll sessions will have simultaneous English-French, and ASL interpretation.\nTruth and Reconciliation Week daily Lunch and Learn webinars are presented with the gracious support of Enbridge and the Canadian Public Health Association.\nPlease visit National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation (NCTR)  ( https://trw-svr.nctr.ca/lunch-and-learns/ ) for all dates and times.\n
