The Saanich Peninsula PCN has welcomed three clinics over the past year – Marigold, SPOT and Viewmont – and has expanded access to neighbourhood allied health resources (SW and MHSU) to support them. Merlyn, the SP PCN Program Lead, along with the Island Health Manager, has been working hard to integrate and build workflows in these new clinics.
In March, the PCN secured space at Marigold where allied health clinicians can work and see patients in person. This space was arranged to support clinics in the community who do not have space for the allied health team to operate. The Island Health Saanich Community Health Services has also offered a space for the South Neighborhood clinicians to practice out of once a week.
