Support Your Patients with MSP-Covered Mindfulness-Based Care (Now Including MCI Stream)

Apr 1, 2026

The BC Association for Living Mindfully (BCALM) is accepting referrals for its physician-led, MSP-covered Art of Living Mindfully (ALM) program, including a newly introduced stream for patients with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI). ALM is an 8-week group medical visit (90–120 minutes weekly) integrating mindfulness-based and CBT-informed approaches to support patients experiencing anxiety, depression, insomnia, chronic pain, and other stress-related conditions. Since 2013, BCalm has supported over 3,400 patients across BC through this evidence-informed program.

The new MCI offering is a modified ALM program designed for patients with early cognitive decline (e.g., MOCA >18), with a focus on stress reduction, resilience, and support for both patients and their care partners.

Programs are delivered as MSP-covered group visits, with a patient registration fee of $100 (but also with a $40 refund upon completion). Referring providers are asked to remain available for ongoing clinical support as needed.
