Join the New Medical Office Assistants Community of Practice

Oct 6, 2026

MOAs play a vital role in supporting patients, providers and clinic teams. We’re excited to launch a new Community of Practice designed specifically for MOAs to connect with peers, share leading practices, discuss common challenges, and learn from one another. In August we hosted a “Dine & Learn” session on clinic continuity planning for MOAs led by Dr. Ian Bekker, and we hope to host future events this fall and winter to provide MOAs with tools and support for topics like advanced access.

Why participate?

  • Connect with MOAs from clinics across the region

  • Share ideas, resources, and solutions

  • Access professional development opportunities and paid sessional learning events

  • Help shape future topics and learning sessions

Physicians & providers: Share this with your MOA and encourage them to sign up for the new South Island Medical Office Assistants Community of Practice.
