UBC Continuing Professional Development is offering an upcoming webinar, Connecting Care: Strengthening Regional Colorectal Cancer Care Through Primary Care in Island Health on 5:30pm – 7:30pm on April 30th, 2026.
This interactive, virtual session brings together cancer care specialists and primary care providers to strengthen regional colorectal cancer care through collaboration and shared learning. Centered on the pivotal role of primary care, the session supports evidence-based practice, improved care coordination, and stronger connections across local and regional teams.
Learners will explore best practices in colorectal cancer screening, treatment, and surveillance, with an emphasis on practical application in primary care settings. Practical and relevant resources will be highlighted and learners will be invited to reflect on opportunities to enhance care delivery within their own practice context.
