Celebrating the Grand Opening of the T’Sou-ke Nation Community Complex & Health Centre!

Oct 1, 2025

South Island Division team members were thrilled to celebrate the T’Sou-ke Nation Community Complex & Health Centre’s grand opening on September 15, 2025. Michele Nault Mortimer, PCN Indigenous Manager, and Kelly Aucoin, Western Communities PCN Director, joined the T’Sou-ke community to celebrate this amazing achievement.

This transformative facility:

  • Comprises 12,352 square feet
  • Was developed through the Nation’s 25-Year Comprehensive Community Plan
  • Is home to the Nation’s administration, children and families, health and lands and environment departments
  • Features brand new doctors’ offices and laboratory and medical equipment required to provide holistic health services

The T’Sou-ke Nation Community Complex & Health Centre is located at 1000 Soses Snanet Road, Sooke (on Edward Milne Road, behind the Petro-Canada).

Michele had this to say about the day: “It was wonderful to represent the South Island Division  at the recent opening of the T’Sou-ke Nation Community Complex & Health Centre. It was an incredible day that honoured those who have supported the community to create such an important space. We were grateful to witness the unveiling of the welcome figure that now stands at the front of the building. T’Sou-ke Nation welcomed all who shared in the day with a wonderful feast and were gracious hosts.”
