It was with deep gratitude that we welcomed Brianna Bear to the AGM. Brianna is a Songhees First Nation member who provided the Welcome to the Territory for this year’s AGM. Brianna is an artist and Knowledge Keeper for the Nation.
Brianna set the tone for the event by providing a gracious welcome and upholding the important work of health care. There was a deep reminder of the importance of relationship as we continue learn and grow and deepen our understanding of the land and people of this beautiful territory.
