Physician Quality Improvement Courses

Island Health’s Physician Quality Improvement (PQI) program is offering tiered Quality Improvement education opportunities in 2026, ranging from introductory self-paced learning (Level 1) to a CME-accredited 2‑day in‑person workshop in Parksville (Level 2), and a funded, year‑long advanced QI training program with mentorship and project support (Level 3).

These opportunities are open to family physicians and specialists and include CME credits, sessional funding, and practical supports to build QI capacity across practices and communities.

Key application deadlines are in March and May 2026.
