In coordination with the Victoria Division of Family Practice, please let us know what you feel would improve specialist referral processes.
If you can only receive one referral acknowledgement from a specialist’s office, which of the three options would you prefer?
- Within 24 hours – an automated message to verify your fax was received.
- Within a week – a message acknowledging the referral and providing a timeline for triage
- Two weeks or longer – a message acknowledging the referral has been triaged and providing an estimated wait time for an appointment.
