SIDFP invites you to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to access the South Island Primary Care Clinical Pharmacist (PCCP) at your clinic. A link to the EOI form is found here: EOI Form
*Note – clinics that currently have access to a PCCP, also need to complete the EOI to reconfirm interest and commitment to continuing to work with a PCCP.
As you may be aware, the South Island PCNs (Western Communities Urban and Rural, Saanich Peninsula, and Salt Spring Island) are now allocated 3.0 FTE of PCCP total. Work has been underway to determine a model that maximizes access for clinics but retains the intended unique value of a team-integrated PCCP. The model selected affords access to 17 clinics in the South Island, an increase from the current 12 clinics accessing. Additionally, the model includes dedicated pharmacist time to develop educational and community-based opportunities to support all providers in the region. A PCCP Role Overview can be found here.
Clinics seeking access to a PCCP, including those currently with access, should fill out the EOI form by end-of-day August 10, 2026. Forms will be reviewed and scored by an independent evaluation panel, and they will provide allocation recommendations of a PCCP to Steering Committee for final approval.
