On August 27, MOAs from clinics across the South Island and Salt Spring Island joined staff at the South Island Division of Family Practice office for a Clinic Continuity Workshop led by Dr. Ian Bekker. Participants discussed regulatory requirements and practical strategies for maintaining clinic operations during emergencies such as pandemics, fires, floods, and earthquakes, as well as supporting recovery efforts afterward.

Workshop materials and emergency preparedness resources will be available on the South Island Division of Family Practice website for all providers in the coming weeks.
