New Name for Vancouver Island Women’s Clinic

Sep 4, 2025

Vancouver Island Women’s Clinic is excited to announce it’s now the Vancouver Island Choice Clinic!

This name change reflects their ongoing commitment to inclusive, person-centered reproductive health care for all people who seek their services. They recognize that reproductive and sexual health needs are not limited by gender, and they want their name to reflect the full spectrum of care they provide.

Along with this change, the clinic is excited to announce the expansion of their clinical services to include MSP-covered no-scalpel vasectomies, which will be available starting this fall. They look forward to providing this additional option for patients seeking long-term contraception.

What’s staying the same?

  • Their trusted services — including cervical cancer screening, contraceptive services (IUDs, Nexplanon) and abortion care — will continue as usual.

  • Their telephone and fax numbers remain unchanged.

  • You can find more information and updated referral details on their new website: 👉 vichoice.ca

  • You will also find their new referral form on Pathways.
