The Nurse Interschool Committee, a collaboration between UBC, TRU, UVic, and UNBC, is urgently seeking licensed Physicians and Nurse Practitioners to serve as preceptors for NP students who require clinical placements. Preceptors, who must have at least 1–2 years of licensure, play a vital role in supporting students toward licensure, helping them connect with potential employers, and contributing to filling NP roles in Primary Care Network (PCN) service plans across South Island. Placements last a minimum of two months, can be shared among multiple preceptors, and come with a modest end-of-placement honorarium. If interested, please connect with your PCN Change Lead or directly with PNP through their online survey.
