On March 11, 2026, Doctors of BC hosted the first webinar for physicians who are new to British Columbia to connect and learn about Doctors of BC resources. The webinar focused on:

  • Business-focused information for starting and establishing their practices in British Columbia, including resources on business fundamentals, human resources, practice management, and more.
  • How the Regional Advisors and Advocates can help with practice establishment, contracts, and handling complaints, using real-life case scenarios as examples.
  • The Physician Health Program and their work to support physician mental health and wellness.
  • What the Joint Collaborative Committees have to offer for both family physicians and specialists.
