The South Island Division of Family Practice’s Perinatal Shared Care Steering Committee is pleased to share version 1 of the Culturally Safe Team-Based Perinatal Care Model.
In partnership with community family physicians with obstetrics, community midwives, the Victoria Division of Family Practice, and Island Health’s Obstetrics and Midwifery Department at Victoria General Hospital, we are humbly seeking feedback from those providing care to pregnant and expecting families in the South Island region.
Over Fall/Winter 2024, we are conducting small engagements with diverse stakeholders to share our vision and hear from you about how to come together to create safe, collaborative, and sustainable perinatal shared care.
